Yoga

My yoga journey began over ten years ago in a small yoga studio in Singapore.  I'm a strong believer in timing and that wasn't my time.  It wasn't until I took my first Baptiste Inspired powerful flow class in Houston, Texas that I found my beat.  After that first class I was hooked.  I loved what it did for my body, my flexibility and strength slowly started to grow, but beyond the physical effects of the practice I noticed the shifts it was having on my life.  

I've always been a type A, a seeker of the fast paced, always pursuing the next big challenge.  What I've never been great at was slowing down, being presence, and really noticing the things that were happening around me.  I was always one foot out the door, always onto the next challenge before the current one finished.  Yoga changed my perspective.  It slowed me down in the most beautiful way.  

I wanted to be able to take my practice with me wherever life took me and I wanted to be able to share it with the people I met along the way so I enrolled in YogaOne's RYT 200 hour teacher training.  You can find me teaching flow classes at Yogaleena Studio!
